Absolute NZ Meat is a family owned and operated business, located on a pristine 6500 acre station in the Waikura Valley, on the remote East Cape of New Zealand’s North Island.
It’s here that Sean and Jodi Brosnahan – the 4th generation of Brosnahan’s to enjoy the farming way of life – chose to raise their Angus Cattle herd, based around the original Aberdeen Angus cattle introduced to New Zealand in the 1860s.
Absolute Angus Beef is 100% grass fed, non-GMO and hormone free, making it a safe, healthy, natural and nutritious choice. The cattle stay with their mothers until they are nine months old and are then released into rolling green pastures where they’re free to forage and roam.
This traditional approach adds to the succulent taste of the beef and promotes the development of healthy omega 3 and 6 fats. Each Absolute Angus beast is handpicked when ready for harvest, ensuring superior meat quality and taste.
Sean and Jodi are passionate about reconnecting consumer and farmer, describing their approach as “farming like it used to be”. They take great pride in looking after their animals and use clean, green and sustainable policies across all aspects of their farming operation.
